| Pokernews.org a écrit: | Hand #184-- Michael Banducci Wins the $1,000 No-Limit Hold-em W/Rebuys Event
Williams raised to 130,000 and Banducci reraised to 400,000 total. Williams moved all in and Banducci called.
Banducci's dominated Williams' and he had Williams covered. The flop of put Banducci firmly in control of the hand but the on the turn meant that a queen could split the pot. But the river was the and that means Michael Banducci wins the the $1,000 No-Limit Hold'em w/rebuys event. In addition to the coveted WSOP bracelet, Banducci's wins $636,736. Jeff Williams, as our runner-up, takes home $406,330. |
_________________ Raise or fold? That's the question... |

| Pokernews.org a écrit: | Matt Keikoan Wins Event #7 ($2,000 No Limit Hold'em); Shannor Shorr Eliminated in 2nd Place ($349,141)
Hand #161 - Matt Keikoan
Shannon Shorr has the button in seat 3 and he moves all in. Matt Keikoan calls. The players show:
Shorr: Keikoan:
The crowd is on their feet as the flop comes . Shannon Shorr will need serious help if he is to come from behind and avoid elimination.
Without the normal "delay for delay's sake," the dealer puts the on the turn. It's all over. Matt Keimoan has won his first bracelet. The on the river was a mere formality. Shorr congratulated the champion and then received heartfelt consolation from his legion of supporters.
Shannon Shorr falls painfully short of his for WSOP bracelet but will leave with $349,141 to show for his outstanding efforts. |
- Event 8 (10 000$ Mixed Games) :
| Pokernews.org a écrit: | Anthony Rivera Wins Event #8, $10,000 World Championship Mixed Event ($483,688), James Mackey Eliminated in 2nd Place ($297,792)
No-limit hold'em:
On the first hand of heads-up play, James Mackey raised to 87,000. Anthony Rivera looked down and then said, "Make it 287," and raised. Mackey moved all in.
Rivera was stunned. "What? You're all in? I call!" And turned over .
Mackey tossed over .
The flop was and left Mackey still behind. The turn and the river didn't help either. First the and then the came. When the river card blanked, Rivera's crew along the rail erupted, as did Rivera. The Tournament Director counted down the chip stacks and when the dust settled, Rivera had Mackey covered.
James Mackey was eliminated in second place and will take home just under $300,000 for his efforts. |
- Event 9 (1500$ NLHE SH) :
| Pokernews.org a écrit: | Rep Porter Wins Event #9 ($1,500 No-Limit Hold'em / Six-Handed); Nathan Templeton Eliminated in 2nd Place ($231,981)
Hand #212 - Rep Porter
Nathan Templeton has the button in Seat 6. He raises to 100,000. Rep Porter reraises to 325,000. Templeton reraises all in for just shy of one million. Rep Porter makes the call and Templeton is on the ropes.
Porter: Templeton:
The flop comes . No help for Templeton. The turn comes . Templeton is down to one final river card. It comes out the and Templeton is eliminated. He earns $231,981 for his second-place finish. |

| Pokernews.org a écrit: | Tom Chambers Eliminated in Second Place
Stud-8
After a little back and forth, there was an exciting moment when Chambers was all in on fifth street, but they chopped it and play continued.
Omaha-8 Back to Omaha, and the tension was mounting, both players now standing up out of their chairs, and a huge crowd gathered to watch the David and Goliath chip stacks battle it out.
Rouhani called on the button, and Chambers raised. Call.
Flop: and Chambers bet. Rouhani raised. Chambers reraised, and they agreed that he was all in right there.
Chambers: Rouhani:

And making quads on the river, Tom Chambers is eliminated in second place, and Farzad Rouhani wins first place and that coveted bracelet.

The flop came and both checked. The turn was the . Tom bet 150,000, and Mueller raised it to 350,000. Tom waited about a minute, then reraised enough to put Mueller all in. Mueller quickly called.

Both had flopped top pair, but Tom's ace-kicker had him in front.
The turn was the , and "FBT" needed an eight or his day was done. The river was the , and Phil "The Chairman" Tom won his first WSOP bracelet.
Greg Mueller takes home second-place prize money of $298,638. In addition to the bracelet, Tom wins a cool $477,990 for winning his three tables at this year's Shootout. |

Jimmy Shultz around 1,700,000 Zac Fellows around 900,000
